My experience with International Leather Source was far from ordinary. I was across the street at Walgreen’s and the 59.00 Leather Jacket sign caught my eye. I just had to see what was in store. Upon entering the employee greeted me and gave me a walk thru of the store showing me all sorts of leather attire. The Leather was OK. Alot of vintage wear and urban styles. From our conversation he also shared that they also specialize in non-leather items, such as chiffon and silk women’s bridal gowns. Although they do no advertising about the custom dress services, I took a chance and left him with a design to work off of. Five weeks pass by and I received a call that the dress had arrived. I arrived back into the store and tried on the custom dress (FYI they don’t have a formal dressing room; its actually the employee breakroom) and the dress fit with no issues. At the end of the day, if you’re looking for leather goods this mom & pop shop is the place to be. Now if you’re a bride or bridesmaid looking for your next wedding dress this may be Chicago’s best kept secret Price 5/5 (552.00tax) Location 3/5 (Don't expect a fancy Michigan Ave type of shop) Customer service 5/5 The individualized service and non-pushy sales rep was the icing on the cake for me. I’ll be sure to spread the word!

Made an appointment and they canceled. Then told me to come the following day but to wait for their call- never happened. The guy then rudely told me only online and if needed to take my business elsewhere. -correct the phone call your company stated they would make on Sunday, didn’t happen. Which is also unprofessional. Yes I am an AE at Yelp. Which is why my review is very much legit. Also proud owner of my clothing line. -Which is why I made the appointment. Yelp has nothing to do with this, but I see how you are trying to play it off as if that’s what I was coming for. -We do business with professionals. This mom and pop shop isn’t of interest. I needed leather jackets for my personal clothing line. I’ve also looked at your past responses to other customers. The amount of respect your staff has shows through and through. Best of luck.
Just picked up a custom order the other week. For the level of quality I'm not sure if you can beat the price anywhere. Will definitely come back in the future!
I had been looking for a leather jacket for awhile. Tried online shopping but found I wasn't happy with the quality. Finally I found this store where I could go in and feel the leather and try on different jackets. They educated me on the types of leather and helped me pick out the best jacket for my style, body-type, and price range.
